I think watering cans are so cute so I drew one in Electric Quilt 6 and designed a wall-hanging for it. The flower appliques were already in EQ, but I traced the watering can into EQ from a photo of one.
The EQ6 project file and applique templates for this wall-hanging can be downloaded from my web site: www.chickenladyquilts.com/dlwateringcan.asp.
(The 12" applique templates are already included in the EQ6 project file, but the templates can also be downloaded separately in PDF format if you don't use Electric Quilt.)
Enjoy!
Snowbound
Free block of the month pattern from Bunny Hill Designs
This is block #3.
Here is a really cute version of Snowbound block 5 by Dawn at Spring Water Designs
I really like the look of simple quilts.
This is was made by Dawn at Spring Water Designs using fabric from Stone Cottage from Andover Fabrics. Didn't she do a lovely job?
It is a from the pattern called Great View by Pieces From my Heart.
My Jack O’ Lantern wall hanging is from several years ago. The pattern is from an old thimbleberries book. I had done machine buttonhole stitching for the appliqué. Yesterday, I did stitch-in-the-ditch quilting, and quilted around the shapes of the jack o’ lanterns and stars all using my walking foot. I’m thinking about adding some stipple quilting to the night sky to make the stars pop, but I’d have to find my free-motion foot…
Cute!!
Found this free pattern at McCall's Quick Quilts online: Ghoulies & Ghosties Quilt
I just love Quick Quilts magazine. Fast and lovely, that's my style!
I got lavender and “pick your own” pink strips sets done. I had hoped to finished the slicing and even some of the blocks, but that is not to be. We got a new-to-us DVD, Independence Day and we had to watch it. I love the movie. :)
I have been working on my Vintage Valentine appliqué while watching. I love this quilt.
